Doha, Qatar (December 14, 2014) – Regency Art together with Wyndham Grand Regency Doha and under the patronage of Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassem Al Thani, today announced the inaugural launch of “Al Asmakh International Sculpture Symposium 2014,” set to run from December 14 – 26, 2014 at Al Asmakh Farmhouse.
This weeklong cultural event will bring together 12 local and international artists from a diverse range of countries who will express their creativity by capturing the beauty of Qatar through visual arts. The artists in attendance will participate in activities including a series of lectures and museum visits. Time will also be made for artists to grasp their interpretation of the beauty of Qatar’s nature through their own artwork based on their background and experience.
At the end of the workshop, all artworks will be exhibited at a glamorous cocktail reception held in Wyndham Grand Regency Doha’s lobby on December 24, 2014 from 5:30pm until 7:30pm.
As well as inviting many top VIPs, Wyndham Grand Regency Doha will also welcome all hotel guests to attend, giving them an opportunity to meet with the fascinating and talented international artists.

Regency Art – a non-profit organization entrusted with shaping the art and culture landscape in Qatar – will for the first time in Qatar host the first edition of the “Al Asmakh International Sculpture of Art 2014”.
