Doha, Qatar (March 18, 2012) – A Thai food festival week will be held in the Wyndham Grand Regency Doha Hotel from March 17-23 to celebrate Thai National food & culture festival. The event is jointly organized by the Royal Thai Embassy and Wyndham Grand Regency Doha Hotel.
‘Eman Abela’ the Director of F&B said; “Thai Week at Wyndham Grand Regency Doha 2012 is the third of its kind. The first collaboration between the Embassy and the Hotel took place two years ago. During this festival, the Thai chef will introduce typical Thai dishes cooked with hand-picked spices and herbs because Thai cuisine is well-known for its balance of five basic flavors in each dish, or the overall meal, including hot (spicy), sour, sweet, salty and bitter. Thai food is also known for its enthusiastic use of fresh (rather than dried) herbs and spices as well as fish sauce”.
