Wyndham Grand Regency Doha Hotel has won the Cup & the Gold Medal for carving because of Chef Richard artistic pieces. Chef Jameel Nabtiti, Executive Chef commented “I’m very proud of Chef Richard, he always surprise us with his creative pieces, whether from Butter, foam, or vegetables & fruits. He is very talented & I’m predicting that he will be very famous in his career”.
QAFCO Flower & Vegetable Show, an annual event has become synonymous with QAFCO for the past 2 decades. QAFCO also organizes an Environmental Corner during this show. The Environment corner is used as a platform to highlight QAFCO’s environmental performance and initiatives. Since 2008, the Environment Corner has been conducting a Children’s Interactive Corner as well. This children’s Interactive corner encourages children to draw and color on various environmental themes.
