MEAMA Conference (16-19 March 2013)

Wyndham Grand Regency Doha is the Hotel Partner for 4th MEAMA Advanced Postgraduate Geriatric course IV  16 – 19 March 2013, at HMC Clubhouse, Hamad Medical City.
MEAMA, The Middle East Academy for Medicine of Ageing was founded in 2002 to stimulate the development of health care services for older people in the region. Abyad Medical Center and Middle East Longevity Institute were instrumental in organizing the first course of the MEAMA. Over the previous years several reputable official governmental, regional and international organizations helped in the development of the academy.
The aim of this challenges meeting in mental illness in elderly is to advance the scientific and scholarly study of aging and to promote human welfare by the encouragement of gerontology and geriatrics in all its areas. The main objective of this conference is to promote the scientific study of aging in both the biomedical and behavioral/social sciences; to promote research and knowledge about Alzheimer’s disease and to raise public and health worker awareness about the disease.
